I'm pregnant!!!

I think Im really not suitable to blog....cos I kept procratisnate even thought I really got something I would like to blog it down for memory.
Over the past few months, not only Im busy settling down a new life, I am also learning to manage the body changes I have. That is because I'm pregnant!!! Although, my serious mood swings, change in temper has been giving me the possible symptons of pregnancy, but I was still very shocked when I see the positive sign at the pregnancy test kit. Me and my hubby yell out of shock early in the morning.
It was really a suprise to both of us. It wasnt a planned one, but we are still very very happy to have the baby. It is a gift from the god. We really feel that its fated that the god want to give us this baby, because its really not easy to conceive at that point in time, which we thought its safe period..haa..but nothing is safe anway. Even gyne agrees that by right its safe, but sometimes things just happen. Sinces its a gift from god, the more we have to dote and take good care of the baby...esp me myself whereby I have the greatest responsibilities to walk carefully, eat carefully and be careful in everything I do for the sake of our bb.
Now I am 4 months preganant. The first trimester is over.
During the first trimester, some of the problems I have is the nauseoness, vomitting and poor appetite. When Im hungry, I feel nauseous, when Im too full (which I always are), I get the feeling too. If the baby dislike the food, I will vomit. My appetite in general is poor, I ate very little...that is why I tried to keep my food intake little, but more meals. I am also very tired during my first trim. Compared to many others like my sis, I think I am already quite fortunate...these problems are minor compared to theirs. Because of this new family member we are having, my hubby decided to get a car when both of us feel that the coe is always quite low at that point. With the car, my hubby can drive me to work everyday, and this saves me the hassle and trouble of changing 2 bus and 1 train in order to get to the office everyday. This decision was made very fast, just within 2 weeks after I knew we have the baby.
I am always looking towards the medical visits to the gyne, because I get to see my baby during the scan. Its amazing seeing the baby growing from an embryo to a foetus....etc. I was so stunned when I first heard the heartbeat of the baby, it is so loud and fast...and I feel so sweet when i saw my baby waving hands at us. I can never describe the feeling..its undescrible.
Now as Im moving into my second trimester, I should be expecting my tummy to get bigger and bigger. Now, its still not very obvious, however, the gyne said that by 20th week(a mth later), it should be very obvious.
Is the baby a boy or a girl?
My maternal instinct and some supersitious games/method that I used, seems to tell me that the baby is a girl. However, I cant confirm till my gyne check for me. On 16 Oct, I was so anxious when I went for my usual medical apt, cos my gyne promised that she will check the gender for me. Many people ask me which gender I prefer? When I tell them I got no pref, they dont believed. But seriously, we did not want to set any hopes for a girl or boy since the begining, because if we did not get that gender, we will be disappointed. Hence, we deicded that we are fine with either gender, as long as its healthy and well. If I say I want a boy, thats because of the traditional thinking. However, inside me, I knew I prefer a girl, cos girl is sweet, and I seems to be bored with my two nephews at home. haaa.
My baby was sitting down when I was doing the scanning on 16 Oct. This is the first time that I see my baby sitting. The baby was using his/her hand to touch his/her head when I am looking at the screen. The baby is so cute, still as active as before..during my oscar scanning a month ago, the baby was not cooperative, the baby was so active turning left and right enjoying himself/herself. That is why, we have great difficulties getting baby turning to the correct position to allow the nurse to do the measurement. But its really fun.haaa.
As my baby is sitting down, the gyne immediately aim to the bottom part and have a look. Oh, the baby's leg was also slight apart, and this give the gyne a good position to view the gender. ITS A GIRL. Its pretty obvious, even both of us can tell even if the gyne never says anything. However, the gyne only dare to say 80% accuracy at this point in time, and will confirm once again during the detailed scanning next month.
Yeah, Im right. Im so keen in buying some beautiful clothes for my baby girl...and not to forget the hair band...haaa..looking fwd to my next medical apt.
