This is the first week im moving back my own home and the wk when my mil stops work. So in the day time, only she and I are at home taking care of my baby.
Its just the third day, but i feel so restricted and confined. She didnt really restrict me anything and in fact i feel more free in the day. But im not happy.
During the time at my mum's place, im very busy throughout the day, cos i have to take care of my baby myself 24hrs, as my mum need to take care of my nephew too. But im happy, cos i get my baby's full attention and i do whatever i want with her, like brining her to nap with me side by side..cuddling her..talking to her..and seeing her waking up and dozing off.
But now that im home, my mil helps me out by feeding baby at times, cooking for me, looking after her while i take a nap...etc. so i have more free time. But im really not happy, i miss the time when i live in the world of just my baby and me..now i feel my mil is always getting close with my baby that i couldnt get close to her 24hrs.
She wants to bring her downstair for a walk in the morning, but cos I just managed to fall asleep due to the night feeds...i couldnt push myself to wak up just to carry baby over to her..anyway baby also sleeping. When baby is awake, i got to feed her, or sometimes mil do so, but it take an hr for her to finish her milk..so by time she finish, its near to noon..but mil stil wants to bring her downstairs even in HOT SUN..(if its me,i will not choose to go down at such timing, but i cant coment much).
Mil use baby bath tub to wash clothes..find it so unhygience. Anyway i told her not to already.
Mil wan to spray insecticide at a corner in the kitchen..but its so near to the utensils..
I dont dare to bring olivia to my room to nap with me, cos i scared mil want to see her..
sometimes its so hot in the evening, but she wanted to bring her downstairs, i just politely say, wah so hot, better not bah.
she bring the pram seat up and let olivia sit up..but how can a baby sit up when her spine are not fully well and strong yet....somemore shes not tied up..so dangerous.
during diner time, she only cook soup (where she throw all the ingredients into the soup), and one vegetables..thats it..so boring..as compared to my mum place where i see varieties..one day is enough, but if i have to eat that everyday, im going crazy...
alamak so many problems..i cant imagine how to survive for the rest of the month with her. I really miss my mum.
I know i have to be grateful to my mil for helping us out..but i really cant help to feel insecure..i wondered if she is really experienced enough to handle my baby....i also cant help to feel my baby being taken away by her at times..
Is this post natal blues, over sensitive..or its just a part and parcel of life that everyone has to goes through.
Anyay, im glad i have a loving husband who always help me wash my pump equipment the moment he returned home, the understanding hubby who always listen to my sorrows, bring me to the nearby coffeeshop to eat supper as he knows the dishes his mum cooks doesnt suit me..and the wonderful hubby who listens to whatever i say...if not for him, i thk i will be very depressed. I requested to go sakura for dinner tmr...and he agreed...whats else do you want in a husband...he got it all.
